How to hide a single Excel worksheet using Excel, VBA and Shortcut methods

METHOD 1. Hide an Excel worksheet using the sheet option

EXCEL

Right-click on a worksheet > Hide

1. Right-click on a worksheet that you want to hide.
2. Click Hide.
Note: in this example we are hiding Sheet2.
Right-click on a worksheet and select Hide - Excel

METHOD 2. Hide an Excel worksheet using the ribbon option

Select a worksheet > Home tab > Cells group > Format > Hide & Unhide > Hide Sheet

1. Select the worksheet that you want to hide.
Note: in this example we will be hiding Sheet2.
Select a specific worksheet - Excel

2. Select the Home tab. Select Home tab - Excel

3. Click Format in the Cells group.
4. Click Hide & Unhide and then click on Hide Sheet.
Select Format, select Hide and Unhide and select Hide Sheet - Excel

PREREQUISITES
Worksheet Name: Have a worksheet named Sheet2.

ADJUSTABLE PARAMETERS
Hide Worksheet: Select the worksheet that is to be hidden by changing the Sheet2 worksheet name to any worksheet in the workbook.
